New it is Xmas, and as usual we are invaded by parfumes spots. They are everywhere, at the bus stops, in the shops windows, in the magazines and mainly at the television. Well, every year we all promise to ourselves not to belive to the "perfect life" offered by the spots, but every year we can't resist them, we are attracted by this super thin models, beautiful actors and actresses and the gorgeous models.
I promise myself that I won't belive them, but as I see Charlize Teron saying "gold is cold, diamonds are dead" I just can't help loving again all the parfumes. Lets not talk about James Franco that assures us "the whole world is changing, I will be the same", and I would like to comment, "thanks God!!!". But I'm not here to talk about female hormons messing up for James Franco's face.
Well, it just happened to me to see a picture on an old magazine of Dior's parfume Chérie. The photo is so delightful the young girl seems a teenager looking for fun, she is in pink, colour of happiness, she isn't smiling she's got this "?" expression on her face. She's so sweet, as every girl would like to be, and here is the philosopy of pubblicity: aiming to be like who the spot shows you. But then I see the harmless roses for once not connected to passion, the funny hat, the sparkled dress the joy of life that is in the girl's eyes (she even doesn't look like a model for she looks so normal), and again I'm captured by the dream of being like her, like a Chérie.
Chérie, Dior, the scent of teenage dreams.
P.S. I'm sorry for the photo being not perfect but I was to lazy to look up on the internet fot it and I just took a photo from the magazine with the computer's camera ;)
