Saint Petersburg is the second city in Russia and it's very interesting to be visited.
What to do:
In winter you can't miss a cuople of events, the Russian Winter Festval, with some concerts that bring thousands of people from all over the country for the winter celebrations (in Russia Christmas is on the 6th of January).
The second "musical" festival goes on between February and March: I'm talking about the Russian winter goodbye, it's atotal immersion in folk culture, with folkloristic music, song, dances and shows (like troika competitions and bears exibitions).

Shopping:
You must go to Gustinov Dvor: shops inside and outside all the way through the huge shopping center. What will you find? Everything, from the coolest outfits to the vintage "made in Russia"...you can go even just for window-shopping.
In a couple of days will come part 2 with where to go, food&drink and of course clubbing!!!
